Collingdale authorities are concerned about the mysterious disappearance of Melissa Rodriguez. The thirty-year-old mother had been missing since Friday. Police have requested the public’s help in the search for her. And since she has now been missing for four years, they need new tips and leads.

The Husband’s Story

Police questioned Melissa Rodriguez’s estranged husband about his wife’s disappearance. Her estranged husband Jose says she called him on Friday. And he said that it was his weekend to have their seven and eleven year-old daughters. And so she was going to Newark, New Jersey to visit her family and friends. Police contacted the friends in Newark who Melissa was supposed to meet up with. The friends told police they spoke to Melissa on Thursday around noon. Melissa told them she would be staying at their house for the weekend.

The friends expected another phone call on Friday around 3:00 P.M. But they never heard from Melissa. Police also say Melissa’s car is still parked at her home on the 400 block of Lafayette Avenue in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. Police also say she never showed up to her new job which she was supposed to start on Monday. Rodriguez is described as a Latino female of Hispanic ethnicity. She is 5’5” tall and 130 pounds. Melissa has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow flowered dress and glasses.
