Find Missing Lynn Sherwood Deibert! Lynn Sherwood Deibert has been missing since February 4, 2007. He is missing from Lewes, Delaware. Lynn Sherwood Deibert is classified as a lost/injured missing person (foul play not suspected). His year of birth is unknown. At the time of his disappearance, Deibert for 52 years old. His current age 53 to 54 years old. Lynn Sherwood Deibert is a Caucasian male. He is described as 5’8″ to 5’10” tall and 280 to 300 pounds. His hair is brown and his eyes are brown. When he was last seen, Deibert had a blue flotation devise. It is unknown what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Lynn Sherwood Deibert has a scar on his abdomen from gall bladder surgery. He has a scar on the back of his ankle where his Achilles tendon was lacerated by a lawnmower. And he has a small scar above his right eyebrow.

Lynn Sherwood Deibert was last seen off the coast of Lewes, Delaware on February 4, 2007. He was a federal ship’s pilot with the Chesapeake Federal Pilots Association. And he had over thirty years’ experience sailing.

Lynn Sherwood Deibert had attempted to board the coal carrier Energy Enterprise. However, late that evening, Deibert fell off the ship’s ladder into the water. The water temperature at the time was approximately 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Witnesses threw three life rings into the water to try to help him, but he disappeared.

Lynn Sherwood Deibert lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2007. He is divorced, with two children. His body has never been found in spite of an extensive search. But he is presumed lost at sea. He has been declared legally dead.

This is a case in which foul play is probably not involved. But Lynn Sherwood Deibert is still missing, and his whereabouts have been unknown for over 11 years. And if he is lost at sea, he may never be found. And so his disappearance may never be solved. But his loved ones are going through the same nightmare, as those families of missing loved ones who are victims of foul play. But his body has never been found, and there is a small chance that Deibert was a victim of foul play.
