Find Missing Jason William Dies! Jason William Dies has been missing since June 18, 1991. He is missing in San Diego, California. Jason William Dies is classified simply as a missing person. But he is a subject of the Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP). ViCAP is an FBI created and operated program. The FBI maintain a database of select missing or unidentified persons in whose cases foul play is suspected. Dies’ year of birth is 1970. At the time of his disappearance. Dies was 20 years old. His current age is 47 years old.

Jason William Dies is a Caucasian male. He is described as 5’9″ to 6’0″ at the time of his disappearance. He is described as 130 to 180 pounds at the time of his disappearance. His hair is described as black/brown and his eyes are described as blue/green. Dies’s nickname is Bill. It is unknown what Dies was wearing when he was last seen.

Jason Willam Dies was last seen in San Diego, California on June 18, 1991. He was a sailor on leave from the U.S. Navy at the time. He had been assigned to the U.S.S. Horne in San Diego. And was supposed to report to duty at a naval station in Pensacola, Florida in thirty days.

When he didn’t show up by July 18, he was declared absent without authorization, And on September 19, he was reclassified as a deserter. He has never been heard from again.

Prior to his disappearance, Dies told his family in Louisiana that he was mailing them some packages. And he asked them to keep safe without opening them. He didn’t say anything else about them.

When the packages arrived, they were postmarked June 18. And the return address was the naval station in Pensacola. His family decided to follow Dies’s instructions and not open them. They put the packages in storage, where they stayed unopened for nearly ten years.

When Dies’s family finally opened the packages, they discovered gifts for them. They believe Dies planned to make a surprise visit to them in Louisiana during his period of leave and give them the presents.

Dies’s cousin reported him missing to the police in Escambia County, Florida in January 2013. This was because because she thought he’d gone missing from the naval station there, but he actually never arrived there.

Jason William Diese remains classified as a deserter by the military authorities. However, his family believes he did intend to report for duty. His case remains unsolved.

After all this time, military authorities are still classifying him as a deserter. And some agencies will not call him an endangered missing person. Fortunately, someone (s) has been able to get him into the ViCAP program. After 27 years, it’s unlikely that Jason is walking around, hiding from his family and community. No one can know for sure why he did not report for duty that day.
