Find Missing Dixie May Forrester! Dixie May Forester has been missing since July 11, 1971. Other agencies list her as being missing a month earlier, on June 11, 1971. She is missing from Springfield, Missouri. Dixie May Forrester is classified as an endangered missing person. Her year of birth is 1939. At the time of her disappearance, Forrester was 31 years old. Her current age is 78 years old. Dixie May Forrester is a Caucasian female. She is described as 5’5″ tall and 112 pounds at the time of her disappearance. Her hair is brown and her eyes are hazel.

Dixie May Forrester had several teeth knocked out in a car accident in 1964; she wears upper and lower dentures as a result. Her hair was cut short at the time of her disappearance. It is unknown what she was wearing when she was last seen.

Circumstances

Dixie May Forrester was last seen on the evening of July 11, 1971 (or June 11, 1971). At that time, she dropped her six-year-old daughter daughter off at a cousin’s home in Springfield, Missouri. She was supposed to go meet her ex-husband. She has never been heard from again.

Dixie May Forrester’s vehicle was found abandoned. It is described as a 1955 Chevrolet. It was was located that same night, near the intersection of Atlantic Street and Missouri Avenue. At the time, this area was/is close to her ex-husband’s home.

Dixie May Forrester’s ex-husband was arrested and held for questioning in her disappearance, but he refused to take a polygraph and after several hours of questioning he was released. He is now deceased. Forrester’s case remains unsolved.

Forrester went missing before forensic technology and before DNA testing. Her daughter is now middle-aged. Forrester’s own parents are probably no longer alive and have died without answers. The one person with critical information in her case, is no longer alive. But he was not co-operating with the investigation when he was alive.
