Circumstances

Diane Sue Gilchrist was last seen in Vancouver, Washington on May 29, 1974. She left her residence in the 1800 block of Franklin Street and got into a van driven by an unidentified man. She has never been heard from again.

Warren Leslie Forrest, a suspected serial killer, is a person of interest (POI) in Diane’s disappearance. He is also a POI in the 1971 disappearance of sixteen-year-old Jamie Grisim. He is thought to have raped and killed at least six young women in the Vancouver area. He was convicted of murdering one nineteen-year-old woman in 1978 and received a life sentence. He is still incarcerated and was denied parole in 2017.

The bodies of three other women have been recovered in rural Clark County. And they are thought to be possible victims of Forrest. He has never been charged in connection with their cases. Nor has he faced charges in Diane’s or Jamie’s disappearances, however. Diane’s case remains unsolved.

About findmissing 2890 Articles
I'm a Christian, meaning that I have a relationship with God, through trust in HIs Son Jesus. I'm a pro-life blogger, and I have three websites, focused on the sanctity of life. The first one is https://neverabortion.com, which is specific to calling for an end to abortion through educating people about alternatives and pro-life news and opinions. The second site, https://alllivesaresacred.com, is also devoted to ending abortion through reaching out to moms in crisis and educating them on alternatives. This second site has the broader aim of celebrating the sanctity of all human life. Born and unborn. I want to reach a broad audience through the second site. The third site, https://www.missingadultskids.com, is devoting to finding missing persons, identifying the unidentified, and bringing justice to victims of crime.
