Find missing Alexis S Patterson! Alexis Patterson has been missing May 3, 2002. She is missing out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is also the place of her birth. Alexis’ case classification is endangered missing. She was born in the year 1995. Alexis Patterson is an African-American female. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as 3’8″ tall and 42 pounds. Alexis has black hair and brown eyes. At her disappearance, Alexis was seven years old. Her current age is 32 years old.

Alexis has a scar below her right eyes. She has a bump on her left “pinky” finger. Her primary and secondary teeth are crowded. Alexis’ gums are a dark color. She has pierced ears. Alexis’ nicknames are Lexi and Pie. She reportedly is right-handed. When she was last seen, Alexis was wearing a hooded red pullover nylon jacket. It had a gray stripe running down each sleeve. Alexis was wearing a light purple blouse or a blue shirt. The shirt would have had horizontal stripes. She was wearing light blue jeans.

When she was last seen, Alexis was also wearing a blue and white high-top Nike sneakers. She was also wearing cluster-type, diamond sunflower-shaped earrings. They had yellow gold posts. Alexis was carrying a pink Barbie book bag. Her hair was styled in two French braids. They were pulled back into a ponytail.

At the time of her disappearance, Alexis lived with her mother and stepfather. Their names are Ayanna Bourgeois and LaRon Bourgeois. They lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. LaRon had accompanied Alexis as they walked to Hi-Mount Boulevard School. It was located in the 4920 or 4921 block of West Garfield Avenue. This area is near 49th Street. Alexis and her stepfather were walking at approximately 8:00 A.M. on May 3, 2002. Alexis was a first-grade student there. That school was less than one block from the family’s home.

After Her Disappearance

LaRon supposedly dropped Alexis off at the school. He claimed that he watched Alexis walk towards the playground
And he claimed that afterwards, he headed back to their residence. Reportedly, Alexis never attended her classes that day. However, other students reported seeing her crying on the playground before and after school. She has never been heard from again. LaRon and Ayanna were not notified of Alexis’ absence until after her school had dismissed that afternoon.

Parents Respond

Initially, Alexis’ parents believed that she refused to show up at classes because of an argument she had with her mother. Ayanna stated that Alexis had failed to properly complete her homework during the previous evening. Therefore, Alexis wasn’t allowed to bring cupcates for her classmates the next day. Authorities agreed with the scenario. They stated that something possibly caused Alexis’s disappearance. For she she was seen on the school’s playground later that day.

Initial Searches

Alexis doesn’t have a history of running away from home. Before she went missing, she had a perfect attendance record at her school. Investigators searched areas surrounding the school immediately after Alexis disappeared.
Investigators searched all nearby Washington Park. Divers searched its lagoon. Authorities zeroed in on areas near Meinecke Avenue. They also searched Vine Street, 16th Street, and 60th Street. These were in the northwestern section of the city. No evidence was found at any of these areas.

A Red Truck

Investigators decided that Alexis’s disappearance is suspicious in nature. They charged their classification from missing child to a criminal investigation. This was by by May 14. Some of Alexis’ classmates told police that they had seen a red truck parked near the school for most of the week before she went missing. However, the truck
never never dropped anyone off or picked anyone up. It vanished before Alexis did. Thus it hasn’t been identified. It is unknown if it is connected to Alexis Patterson’s case.

Criminal Pasts

Alexis’s father was imprisoned in Milwaukee at the time of her disappearance. His name is Kenya Campbell. He was released shortly afterwards. Kenya cooperated with police, as did Ayanna and LaRon. Alexis’s stepfather has a criminal history also. In spite of this, authorities stated that they don’t believe that LaRon or Kenya’s pasts are connected to Alexis’ case. LaRon failed a lie detector test after Alexis went missing. And he was charged for an unrelated 2003 crime. This was a year after Alexis vanished. He had a donestic dispute with Ayanna.

Ayanna had been trying to leave LaRon for some time. Thus he was ordered to stay away from her. According to Ayanna, LaRon was abusive and threatened her. However, the criminal charges were dropped. Ayanna and LaRon have since separated and moved away from the Milwaukee area. In August 2002, an anonymous caller contacted a Milwaukee television station. The caller claimed that Alexis’ remains were disposed in the Milwaukee River. This is near Estabrook Park. Dive teams searched the area. But they found no evidence connected to Alexis Patterson.

In September 2002, investigators announced that foul play is suspected in the case of Alexis Patterson. Because of a tip from a prisoner in 2005, they searched a vacant house in Baton Rouge. But they found nothing.

It seems that this is a mysterious disappearance and a strange one. Alexis was dropped off at school. But she never showed up at classes. Yet other students sight her crying before and after classes. None of it adds up. After 15 long years, it’s unfathomable that not one named suspect has emerged. It’s upsetting that not one person has spent a day behind bars in Alexis Patterson’s disappearance.
