Appeal

I do not like cases like this. Family abductions are the most common abductions. And I know I do not write about very many. The facts, as presented, are unclear as to why the mother is dangerous. According to reports, Eli’s noncustodial mother is homeless. And she is a physical hazard to her son. It is unknown if this is because of her past behavior or because of what has been told to authorities. But Eli’s safety is front and center, of course. And if it means his mother isn’t to be part of his life, so be it. Hopefully, he will be rescued and she will get the help she obviously needs.

Anyone with information can call the Columbus Police AMBER ALERT Line at 614-645-4194. IF you see Eli Opembe, his non-custodial mother, and/or the vehicle, call 9-1-1 immediately!
